We now are offering Pinned Main Conversions; which is a great block strengthening modification.   If you are aiming for BIG POWER, this is basically the first mod you should choose.   We use a block jig that allows is to drill pin bores in the main journals.   We then add 1/2"  steel pins which keep the main bearings aligned during full power.    This process does require line honing, which is an additional $300.   We use .002" oversize bearing from King which is the industry standard for Subaru oversize main bearings.   Lastly, we recommend having us use ARP Main Bolts during this process, to keep the case together during extreme loads.   The higher the HP, the higher the stress specifically in this area of the main journals.
