If you are looking for higher tensile strength in the head stud, diameter size does matter.  We ream out and re-tap larger threads in the block, along with counter bore alignment dowl bores.  The cylinder heads need reaming as well, and counter bore alignment down receiver bores.     We offer the ARP Head Stud Kit for this conversion along with 14mm alignment dowls in our parts catalog.
